Eric Ciolino, Owner & Chief Roaster Hi there. My name is Eric — I've lived in the New Haven area my entire life, and I believe that coffee is a very special thing. It brings people from different walks of life together, it nurtures big ideas ... it can even change lives. And as the roaster and owner of a sustainable coffee company, I know this from experience. One of my greatest passions is visiting as many coffee-growing regions as I can ... as frequently as I can. I've traveled to coffee farms in Nicaragua, Brazil, Costa Rica, The Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Panama, not just to find the finest beans the world over, but to intimately understand the "journey of coffee" from bean to cup. I want to meet the people and see the creatures and ecosystems I'm connected to, and responsible for, as a roaster. It puts everything into perspective, and it's inspired our name — One World. I've scoured countless fair trade and organic farms and micro lots to bring you truly incredible single origins, espressos, and coffee blends that I'm confident will delight every palate. I am thrilled and privileged to share the hard work not just of myself and my team, but every farmer and importer I've been so lucky to work with.
